Groomer Pow "Too" Deep

Combines smooth float and carving precision, delivering a lively feel and responsive turns.

Reactive Nose Flex: Compresses in powder to enhance float, absorbs bumps smoothly in variable snow, and allows subtle forward weight shifts for tighter, controlled carves.

Lively, Supportive Tail: Provides a reliable platform under pressure, great pop off hits and rolls and enabling snappy carve exits; subtle weight shifts to the rear open up your turn radius.

Effortless powder control with fluid carving across all conditions.

Moderate Nose Rocker: Enhances floatation in powder and agility across all conditions, especially when combined with directional flex.

Light Camber Underfoot: Provides balanced grip, improved agility, and enhanced pop.

Subtle Tail Early-Rise: Delivers a catch-free ride without sacrificing grip, allowing for smooth, fluid turn exits.

Voyageur 158 split

I’ve ridden the Trout for several years (see review) and bought the 158 Voyageur last season specifically for days we would mainly be in steep trees and it’s been perfect. Its slightly quicker edge to edge than the Trout so I ride faster fall line with more confidence when following my buddy or picking a route down through tight trees and terrain features. The tail is narrower so it’s easy to lean back for a quick brake check to assess a feature and with the longer nose, quickly gain speed again to hit it. It’s great in the alpine steeps but in the flatter connecting terrain and gullies I’m straight lining a bit more where I would be surfing with the Trout. The Voyageur is also my choice for resort over 10cm. Trapper makes such great boards, no idea why someone would choose a board made in Dubai, Austria or China to ride B.C. type pow.
