How the Credit Plan Works
- Choose a board type.
Today is your first monthly payment. - Video call with Trapper.
Together we will hone in on model, size, and adjustments to width and flex as needed. - Make four monthly credit payments.
Each payment becomes Trapper credit on your account. - Apply your credits to final invoice.
Your accumulated credit is applied to the remaining board balance. Taxes and shipping are added at that time.

CAD examples include $40 board shipping. GST final uses 5% tax. BC final uses 5% GST plus 7% PST.
Fitment and Customization
Your plan includes one-on-one board guidance from Trapper before your final board is confirmed.

Custom widths are available for pre-orders, but most likely will not be available for in-season orders due to workshop capacity.
Timeline, Cancellation, and Transfer
Pre-order builds are currently targeted for delivery from mid October through mid-November.
You can cancel anytime for 100% store credit. If manufacturing of your components has not started you can receive 100% refund.
After manufacturing (or design of a customized unit) has begun the amount refunded will be reflected in the refund amount depending on progress.
Your credits are transferable in full if the receiver is getting the same board. Otherwise the same policy applies as the refund options.
Shipping Rates
Our current flat rate shipping for your region is: Flat Rate $40.00 CAD
However, you don't need to worry about this cost now. Once your board is ready, we will contact you to confirm your final delivery method (shipping, local pickup, or hand delivery) and add any applicable shipping costs to your final invoice.

Your monthly payment buys Trapper credits. It is not a partial payment on a named board on day one.
After your first payment you'll connect with me (Greg) to make sure we match the model and specifics to the experience you are looking for from your next board. We start with your riding goals, boot size, terrain, and the boards you have liked or fought with in the past.
The goal is the right fit first. Your credit gives you a place in the process while leaving room to make the board decision properly.
How the credit plan works
Split or Solid
Snowboard credit at $200 CAD/month or splitboard credit at $250 CAD/month.
Dial in the board
Talk through riding goals, quiver history, model, size, flex, boot size, and eligible width needs before the board is finalized.
Build credit monthly
Make 3 more identical payments. Each one becomes Trapper credit on your customer account.
Finish the invoice
Final invoice uses the actual board price, taxes, and confirmed delivery method, minus your credit.
What the fitment support includes
There's not many companies that you can actually talk to the designer and builder to get you dialed into the right board fit. Shifting to this personal connection with Trapper customers has been one of the most enjoyable changes in the 15 years of manufacturing boards.
We will map your rider profile, terrain, riding goals, and the feel you are chasing on snow, then compare that against your current and past boards. We will look at the practical trade-offs: shape, length, width, flex, edge hold, float, and how those details line up with your weight, boot size, stance, and riding style.
Because Trapper boards are built in-house, flex is always part of the conversation. Eligible pre-order custom-width needs can also be discussed before production decisions are locked in.
Flexibility
You are not locked into an exact model on day one. Your credit can move with you while fitment decisions evolve.

Your first monthly credit payment is due today. Then you'll make 3 additional monthly payments by the 15th of each month for the exact same amount ($200 or $250 CAD). Your final payment covers the remaining board balance, plus shipping and taxes when the board is almost ready for shipping. In total, you'll make five payments.
Payment can be made through the website via credit card or via email interac payment (selected during checkout).

No. This product purchases Trapper payment plan credit. It is kept flexible until your final board invoice is prepared, so you are not locked into a specific board on day one.

Yes. You can change the model and size up until we start production, which happens within a few weeks after you confirm your initial choice. Your credit will be applied to whichever final snowboard or splitboard you select.

We discuss riding goals, terrain, boot size, stance, rider weight, quiver history, and the feel you want from the board. From there we narrow model, size, width, flex, and eligible pre-order build details.

Taxes and shipping are not charged on the monthly credit payments. They are calculated on the final board invoice, based on the confirmed board, tax rate, and delivery method.

Yes. You can transfer your payment plan spot and accumulated credit to another rider. If the transfer happens later in the process, any already-confirmed board details may need to be reviewed with Trapper.
