You used to walk into a shop, talk to a rider who knew their stuff, and leave with the right board or at least a better understanding. The internet has stripped that away. At Trapper, we're bringing it back—but deeper. This is a 30-minute video call with the person who actually designs and builds your board. Not a sales pitch. A real conversation about your riding.
$50 for 30 minutes. That $50 becomes permanent shop credit toward any Trapper snowboard or splitboard. It never expires.
If I determine we don't have a board that's right for you, I'll refund your session cost—no questions asked. This is about finding the right fit, not making a sale.
This isn't just about finding the right board in our lineup—it's about understanding what to look for in any board, whether you end up riding ours or someone else's.
By the end of our session, you'll have:
You'll leave this call with a deeper understanding of board design and the confidence to choose your next ride—whether it's from us or not. Our main goal is to help you get the experience you're looking for. If there's a fit in our lineup, great. If not, you'll still know exactly what to look for.
We don't just hand you a size chart. We dig into your Quiver History to find your perfect match:
"Over the last 15 years one of the things I personally valued most was making one-on-one connections with customers here in the factory to talk riding and design. This session gives us a little slice of that no matter where you live."
— Greg, Founder/Shaper
After our call, you’ll receive a unique code via email. It applies to any snowboard or splitboard purchase. It never expires, and it’s yours to use whenever you're ready for a new ride.
That’s fine. The goal of this session is to give you a professional framework for board selection. You’ll walk away with the knowledge and insight that will help you with board selection anywhere, not just from us.
After purchasing the session you will receive an email with some questions to answer in advance. Including listing of your current and past boards (and what you liked or disliked about them), your boot size, and your typical riding goals. This helps us compare technical specs against your real-world experience.
Yes. Life happens. Your confirmation email will include a link to the booking calendar where you can easily move your appointment to a different time that works for you.
