Here at Trapper we pride ourselves in our workmanship and material choices. Our entire construction process takes place here in our Revelstoke, BC factory starting right from local hand selected rough lumber. This gives us ultimate control and scrutiny over our product. We have selected all of our materials strictly for performance and durability factors, never as a cost or time saving measure. Based on these efforts and our proven durability including our formative years we are proud to have some of the industries most durable boards. Now, we're not talking heavy, limp, and sluggish slabs of snow grinding planks either. Nor are we talking about a boards where performance and flex fade away faster than a spray on goggle tan from the 80s. Our boards are built to perform and keep that performance for a lot of days on snow.
Despite all the tooting of our own horn there.... shit happens. Sometimes things go wrong. Luckily it's a very small number of things. Conservatively less than 2% in our case.
All Trapper boards are warrantied against manufacturer and material defects for two years from the date of purchase. Warranty is only applicable to boards purchased from Trapper Snowboards or authorized dealers. Proof of purchase is required, for those purchased from Trapper Snowboards we will have a record of your purchase should you loose your copy. The warranty does not cover wear and tear, misuse, abuse, neglect, impacts of any kind, and is void if signs of tampering or improper repairs are deemed to have influenced the area in question. The warranty only applies to the original purchaser. Cost of any shipping required for warranty claims is the responsibility of the purchaser (but we'll help get that part sorted). If a board is found to have been defective and covered by warranty Trapper Snowboards Ltd. will repair or replace the product at our cost.
If you think you have a defective product or you have inadvertently damaged your product please contact us directly via email at email@example.com and include some clear photos of the issue. Even if you do not think it is a case for warranty we will give you the best advice on how to proceed with either repair or replacement.
Sometimes you eat shit and shit breaks. We hope you didn't break yourself. If you should damage your board beyond repair and it is not covered by our warranty we're confident you like your Trapper board so much that you want another one. We also want another Trapper under your feet. This is where we apply our crash replacement "policy". We'll set you up with a replacement at a heavily discounted price. This is subject to availability and our discretion.
