Part B: How The Program Works

1. Guided Selection Process

Our program is a collaboration. We'll work with you through our 3-phase selection process between July 1st and August 15th to determine your perfect board and confirm your final price. Timely communication and meeting the August 15th deadline for your final approval are key to keeping everything on schedule.

2. Your Cancellation Rights

  • Your 10-Day Cooling-Off Period (Full Cash Refund)
In line with BC law, you have 10 days after receiving this contract to cancel for any reason. To cancel, you must provide notice to info@trappersnowboards.com. You will receive a full cash refund within 15 days of your cancellation request. No questions asked.
  • Cancellation After 10 Days (Before Aug 15th)
If your plans change before your final board selection is locked in, you can get 100% store credit. If we can't find a board that's a perfect fit for you during the design phase, you can opt for a 90% cash refund and 10% store credit.
  • Cancellation After Final Approval (After Aug 15th)
Once your final board specifications and price are approved, production begins. At this stage, cash refunds are no longer available. We can offer store credit, minus a $100 processing fee (which we'll waive if we can reuse the components).

3. Our Delivery Guarantee

We guarantee your board will ship by November 15th, 2025. If we miss this date, you are entitled to a full refund of all amounts paid. Our goal is to get it to you much earlier, in early October.

4. Transferring Your Spot

You can transfer your spot and the credit you've paid to someone else at any time. Before August 15th, they can start the process from scratch. After August 15th, they would need to accept the board specifications that have already been approved.

The Legal Stuff

  • Our Commitment & Liability
Our goal is your complete satisfaction. Legally, our financial liability is limited to the amount you have paid for your board. We are not responsible for indirect damages. Your rights under BC consumer law are not affected by this.
  • Events Beyond Our Control (Force Majeure)
If a major event that is completely out of our hands (like a natural disaster or massive shipping disruption) prevents us from delivering on time, we are not liable for the delay. We will always communicate openly and do everything we can to resolve the situation.
  • Customer Responsibilities
To ensure a smooth process, we count on you to provide timely payments, complete your questionnaire, and stay in communication with us during the design phase. Please ensure your contact and shipping information are accurate.
  • Governing Law & Your Rights
This agreement is governed by the laws of British Columbia. Nothing in this document is intended to limit the rights you are guaranteed under the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act. If any part of this agreement conflicts with the law, the law will always prevail.

This Agreement was confirmed electronically by you during checkout. By paying the deposit, you confirmed that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
